The web site has been having problems since ipowerweb.com moved us to their new servers. Its taking them a long time to rectify this situation. We are still working with them to see how we can cope with this. If it isn't fixed shortly we will move to blackindians.net and the entire site will be there. We have already taken steps to move the site to that location. And have that site as a backup.

We have decided to reopen the tribal rolls for another 2 months due to the site being down and by request by many people. Once the rolls are closed the tribe will only allow membership by DNA test, references by members or by proof of genealogy.

New Binay Chapter scheduled to start in Indiana early next year.

New Intertribal Youth Association Scheduled to start in PA

This is Angel, and I want everyone to know that
our INTERTRIBAL YOUTH ASSOC. will finally start the
 first of the year. This Youth group has been in the
 planning stages for a while and now it time to
 start.
 
 The group is INTERTRIBAL, because our web site
 "www.BlackIndians.com" under the leadership of
 Chief Jerry Eaglefeather Monroe, is intertribal. We
 are reaching out to all native youth no matter what
 their nation might be.
 
 I am now reaching out to the leaders of many
 tribes who would contribute their ideals and wisdom
 and teachings.
 
 As I was doing reach over the past two years I
 notice that there are native youth groups out there
 .... IN THE MID-WEST and so on. Well we need one
 here. Our children need to grow up knowing who they
 are and the great history that exist within them.
 We need our traditions alive within our youth. Not just a few times
 a year at Pow Wow and gatherings, But each and every day as it is a part of life.

 I also believe
 that this will give them a strong sence of who they
 are. When a child knows who he or she is, they see
 themselves in a different light. Their pride is
 given back to them and we are the only ones who can
 teach them.
 
 I am looking for people who would like to be on
 our broad, so that we can start putting together our
 by-laws, hand book, and events and classes.
 
 Everyone of you is an important piece of this
 venture. So please come on broad.

Update October 1st 2007

Chief Eaglefeather was in a accident in July, he is recovering from it. Taking test and MRI and Cat scan to see if there are broken bones. Please keep him in your prayers.

Chief Eaglefeather and Maria Shining Star are expecting. Please keep them in your prayers, they are in need of anything New born baby. Baby due date is November 15 Th 2007.

Naming ceremony may be scheduled soon. If you would like to know when and were please be sure to have a BlackIndians.com Email account.

New Binay Tribal Band is Scheduled to begin in Indianapolis In soon. Talks and negotiations are underway. Please keep this in your prayers.

Binay has decided not to open the Band in MD At this time. Tribal leaders have presently decided that will not take place at this time.

Philadelphia band is growing. Clan mother Hyland is the tribal representative for that band.

Florida Alligator band is growing. Chief Lion heart and Clan mother Wisdom Rain are the tribal leaders in Florida.

For all of you Kung Fu Movie Fan's Chief Eaglefeather will have a page on this site for Kung Fu and its topic.
